GM – 10th May
Hove is the normal venue of choice for a Thursday.
The feature tonight is the Regency Final worth £10,000 to the winner.
We have Ruby’s Rascal running for us ante post wise in the Final and while you can never discount a Mark Wallis runner in a Final, a trap five draw rather than a trap one draw has made his task so much harder.
It is very hard to look past the claims of the favourite Clares Kyletaun perfectly drawn as the sole wide runner outside five railers. The John Mullins pair of Bangor Ella & Minnies Highway have impressed and if either get to the front they will make the favourite work.
But I really can’t see anything but win for June Harvey’s Clares Kyletaun and annoyingly he’s a dog I have tipped several times but just not this time.
It’s an all open race card but there really isn’t anything I like on it strong enough to put up for a bet.
I have some bets lined up for the Second Round Derby heats tomorrow and Saturday.
No bets advised today.
