Derby Ante Post & Sectional Review

Ante Post
Our ante post book fared well in the second round with only one casualty Magical Bale.
So we still have Bruisers Bullet & Rising Brandy who meet again in the third round, Bombers Bullet, Black Farren and Calico Ranger still in the Derby mix. The third round looks a fair spread of talent and I am for one looking forward to Saturday night.
Fastest Sectional
The sectional market didn’t change too much over the weekend, no-one challenged the 5.12 that Ben & Bluebird set in round one.
Two of our selections King Elvis and Rising Brandy both feature on the current leaderboard, both are still in the Derby.
Bockos Alfie and Clash both bowed out in the second round. Elvis was fastest in the second round. Alfie our 66/1 shot is still still hanging in there for ew purposes.
The only dog I was thinking of adding was Whoops Jack who missed the break and still did 5.23 but no let’s stick with what we have.
Elvis & Brandy have another chance to improve there positions and are capable.
Here’s the current standings
1/ The Other Ben 5.12
1/ Bubbly Bluebird 5.12
3/ Whoops Jack 5.14
5/ Innocent Times 5.15
5/ King Elvis 5.15
5/ Bockos Alfie 5.15
7/ Rising Brandy 5.16
*Now onto Nottingham on RPGTV where it’s a case of if it’s not broken, then no need to fix it!
Nanny Cakes was impressive in winning both heat & Final of a Stayers competition recently.
She can win this contest tonight over the slightly shorter distance of 680 metres.
Colin Wilton’s bitch starts & stays.
Full open race card tonight which is worth watching.
Tonight’s Bet :-
Nottingham 7.37 Nanny Cakes 3 points win @ 6/5 Skybet
