Heat 1 – Slippy Maggie should have benefited for the look round when coming second last week and should win this. However she wouldn’t want Minnie’s Highway to escape off the front.
Heat 2 – Having backed both Affleck Lady and Paradise Valdez last week in the trainer’s championship there drawn together here and could cause each other aggro. I’m sure to pick the wrong one so best just watch.
Heat 3 – Bangor Ella may have trouble clearing Affleck Dino if not she could scoot clear but playing the percentages Aaymza Breeze should come forward for last week’s win and can win again.
Heat 4 – Shotgun Bullet will need to be on his toes early to clear Russelena Reggie and Toast of London but he’s a class act and if doing that he will make every yard. Interesting to see how Apache Kid gets on – the Monmore trial was avarage. Paradise Marco could surprise.
Heat 5 – Would appear to be between last week’s first and second Slick Strauss and Loggies Rosie with I feel Strauss again getting the better of Rosie close home. Towstar Arry could surprise at a price with a ping.
Heat 6 – Rubys Rascal has a lovely draw between two slower starters and looks the answer in the final heat. The danger is Clares Kyletaun who is a dog I like and would also have a good draw out wide.
