3:50 York – Give It Some Teddy
Takes on a couple of unexposed 3yos here, however its win last time could not of worked out much better with both the 2nd and 4th winning the next time they were seen on the track giving the form a strong feel. Give It Some Teddy picked up in good fashion to win here that day and is only 4lb higher in the weights. Seemed to benefit from the longer distance last time and though this is further it seems to be improving the further it goes. With the yard continuing its fine form to me it is the horse they have to beat.

5:40 Ascot – Bronze Angel
Can’t help but support the old timer here who has slipped to a very interesting mark. 24lb below its highest mark, first time in a class 4 since January 2012, before more than half of its opposition were born! Not beaten far in a class 2 last time suggesting it is starting to return to form. Would be even more interesting if the forecast showers arrive as it may well want the sting in the ground taken out which rain would do. This is the scene of one of its finest and richest achievements when taking the Balmoral handicap during Champions day. Yard form is fine, this horse can gain a nice confidence booster in this grade.

7:25 Chester – Revich
I always look for a clear top weight with a low draw around Chester as it is the easiest track to carry weight around. Have found one of interest in Revich here who has 3lb more than its next rival at the weights and a full stone over the bottom weight. It also has the precious stall 1 so can take the shortest route. Yet to win though hasn’t run a bad race in four starts. Has just been getting a bit outpaced over the 6f so a sharp 7f may be more suitable. A beaten favourite last time it can recoup losses for punters here.
