8:40 Kempton – Knight Commander
Lightly campaigned on the flat though shaped particularly well when last seen in this sphere, finishing behind a couple of progressive rivals despite being given too much to do. That was under apprentice handling so interesting they turn towards leading a/w jockey Adam Kirby this time. Always seems to run its race, rarely putting in a bad performance. Has to negotiate a wide draw here but that is less of an issue when they have to travel 2m.

7:10 Kempton – Vixen
Quite a fired up filly who has broken loose to post a couple of times, which makes it a slightly risky prospect. However, got loose beforehand on last run yet still ran with credit to be beaten just over a couple of lengths in what was her first start in 175 days. Drawn well to attack again, she may of been a bit fired up for her first start for half a year. Against her own types she may not be quite so fiery and this isn’t a high grade. Yard form is fine and jokey has won on her in the past. I am hopeful she is a bit of e/w value in this race.
